The Trump campaign has announced that the Trump Bus will be stopping in Salem at 9:00 am on Saturday, August 31. (Note: this is a newly-announced time.) The visit will be at Angelle’s Restaurant at 101 Wildwood Road and is scheduled to last about one hour, with departure at 10:00.
The event is designed to help people get involved in President Trump’s re-election campaign, and promises free yard signs and swag for every volunteer.
The Youngkin/Sears/Miyares’ campaigns clinched victory in 2021 due in large part to winning huge margins in Southwest and Central Virginia to compensate for Democrat margins in elsewhere. It’s believed the Trump campaign has a similar strategy and recent polling indicates Virginia is a swing state because support for both Harris and Trump are within the 4% margin of error.
