What does it take to love America? And what is the cost to fight for Americans? There have always been such questions and many people say they can easily answer them. But, will the answers be the same from people sitting in a peaceful situation verses those who are under fire?
One thing is certain, the latter situation can deeply affect a person’s mental status and judgment. This applies to the vast majority of human beings.
Being under fire with bullets whizzing by and then being eventually hit by one has to be one of the most critical situations a person can face. Indeed, such a moment can only be described by the person who experienced it. However, it takes bravery to face this moment and think logically in such a stressful situation. It is a moment of life and death, which one can easily be distracted by, certainly with sound of the bullets.
It takes a lot of mental control to maintain calm and exhibit brave behavior in the midst of a shooting and being hit by a bullet. Such a situation reveals the person’s mental strength and beliefs. This definitely applies to Donald Trump during Saturday’s assassination attempt.
Defining Trump’s reaction in the moment of the assassination attempt is simple: he demonstrated quick thinking and unwavering bravery. His swift reaction to the situation cannot be interpreted differently. The world observed it and millions of eyes witnessed it. It was a moment that shocked the entire world, from the adversaries and the supporters.
There was not a place for fear in Trump’s reaction at that moment.
However, there are two questions must be asked: How in this critical situation and while he was bleeding, did Trump did not want to leave and refused to be escorted out by the secret service personnel before he had his fist pumped his fist into the air to encourage people? Was this attempted assassination a moment of testing for Trump’s loyalty to Americans?
Obviously, the answers are:
- Regardless the stress that a situation causes, a brave leader will always remain positive (and some would take a bullet for people), and this applies to Trump.
2. If this was such a test for Trump, he definitely passed.
Trump survived, and those who believe in the principles of America as a sovereign nation were relieved. But how do other spectators and some of the world nations reacted to Trump’s assassination attempt?
Unfortunately, under Joe Biden’s administration, the United States has become less influential domestically and internationally. And it is far less respected by the world. However, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented that instead of funding Ukraine, the United States should use the money “to finance the American police and other services which should ensure law and order within the United States.”
Evidently, for the past of 3 years and 7 months the majority of lawmakers in the United States have depleted the nation. In fact, some Republicans are accomplices in the Democrat’s reckless spending, such as funding Ukraine and Israel while leaving Americans behind. While the lawmakers were preaching about democracy and security across the world, they indeed left America on a continual downward trend. The nation’s security has fallen and the authorities have no character or courage to take the blame. Clearly, under Biden’s administration failures are rewarded!
Argentina’s President Javier Milei said that the attempted assassination of former President Trump is the “desperation of the International left” to destabilize democracy and promote violence.
Brazil’s current President, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, said the attack must be “strongly repudiated”, and former President, Jair Bolsonaro, sent his solidarity with “ the world’s greatest leader of the moment.”
Trump’s assassination attempt was not only a failure to protect a presidential candidate, it was a reflection of the current American Government’s failure to protect the American people, democracy, and free speech. But when all is said and done, the assassination attempt did reveal Trump’s bravery to the world, and his loyalty to American people.
