Six more lives of truly innocent people who were not involved in the Israeli-Hamas conflict were diminished. The death of the six Jewish hostages shows another vicious act of the warmongers in the Israel-Hamas war. Killing hostages is a complete violation of humanity and has no definition in civilized society.
The Israel-Hamas war has only ravaged innocent people’s lives from both Israel and Palestine. Evidently, people in Tel-Aviv realized that this war has no destination but devastation as their anger and outrage drove them to protest and demand that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu come to an agreement and reach a ceasefire with Hamas.
The Israel-Hamas’ bloody war has caused more damage than accomplishments. Both Israel and Hamas’ actions have defeated the purpose which is the rights of Jewish and Arabs. With continuing the war, there will be, indeed, more civilian casualties and families suffering. Realizing from the protesters that regardless of religion and ethnicity, people in general seek peace rather than war.
However, the Israeli government and Hamas apparently have no intention to negotiate to an end the war. On the other hand, the Biden-Harris administration has failed over and over to introduce an effective peace plan. There is only an idealistic hope in Biden’s mind to end the war that has no result on the ground of reality.
Now, Biden is blaming Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu of being not cooperative enough to ceasefire. Biden said, “ Netanyahu is not doing enough to reach a deal.” This is another excuse for Biden to cover up his failure in implementing a policy that can end the war and ensure the protection of Israel as the major U.S ally.
Evidently, there is a big gap between the political interests of the government and the people. This can be observed in every government of the world’s nations. Obviously, the Israeli government is not distinguished as it is prioritizing its political interest and decision making over the Israeli people.
This is what the Israelis have realized about the government’s agenda in this ongoing war. Tel Aviv resident Shlomit Hacohen said, “We really think that the government is making these decisions for its own conservation and not for the lives of the hostages, and we need to tell them, ‘Stop!’”
The death of the six hostages is another agony for the families and friends and a crisis for the Israeli government. This crisis will make the government answer to its citizens as they demand more transparency in decision making and planning regarding freeing the hostages.
Also, it marks yet another failure of the Biden’s Administration in the negotiation to end the war. Biden continues to say, “We are very close” to present a final plan for a hostage deal and ceasefire but the fact is that the hostages’ families cannot believe in such a promise as they have lost their loved ones.
Biden’s role has failed again and his plan has no weight on the negotiation table. Therefore, there should be a serious consideration to hand the business over to Donald Trump as he has proven himself as a strong and capable deal maker and is the best option to present a ceasefire a plan nd free the remaining hostages in Hamas’ custody.
