Is the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu crossing the boundaries in responding to Hamas and Hezbollah attacks? Or he is a solid Prime Minister, who firmly stands to defend Israel?
However, to put differing opinions aside and look at the Israeli’s situation today, a person can see that there is no gray area, it is either black or white. That means Jewish are either entitled to a nation and live freely or to be dispersed and melt among the other ethnicities.
The geographical area and the history of Judaism, including conflicts and oppositions from other religions and ethnicities in the region have caused difficulty for the Jewish people to live peacefully in the Middle East. Therefore, it many takes extra miles for them in their struggle to protect the right to exist.
Israel has been facing opposition in the Middle East since its establishment in 1948. However, the major two wars of 1948 and 1967 against the Arab nations have proven the Israel’s determination to exist. Indeed, the Arab nations have realized that the Jewish people will not be eradicated, and thus, accepting Israel is the road for peace and prosperity in the Middle East.
It is the struggle between life and death for Israel in the Middle East under the fire of anti-Jewish armed groups. As the Iranian threat grows against Israel, it does not leave any option for the Jewish people except a response with an iron hammer. Such a response requires a firm leader to stand in the front line and lead the nation.
Prime Minister Netanyahu has been taking the lead in the Israel-Hamas war since the October 7th attack by Hamas, and he is defending Israel defiantly. The strike that killed Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, an Islamic Shii’ militia, was not only a message to the armed militias in the region but a big hit on the Iranian government which is the generator of the militia.
Obviously, Arab nations were silent, and perhaps, many Muslim Sunnis were in favor of Nasrallah being neutralized. The complication of the Middle East’s situation in general, and Israel in specifically has made it more difficult to get a clear picture of the region. It is an ongoing conflict on the rugged road of the Middle East that has no clear final destination.
In contrast with some American politicians, Prime Minister Netanyahu understands the sovereignty of a nation and its border security. The Biden-Harris administration should take a lesson from the Israeli leaders and the importance of protecting U.S. borders. While President Biden signs checks of billions of dollars in aid to other countries – including Israel – he is indeed neglecting the U.S southern borders’ security.
The U.S is desperate for a firm President who understands the needs of the American people and effectively implement policies that create positive changes in the country. A President who is not afraid to prioritize America. In fact, Americans are in need of a leader like Netanyahu, who believes in his nation.
Evidently, this type of President is neither Joe Biden nor Kamala Harris. As the majority of Americans have regretted voting for Biden in 2020, it is important to realize that Harris’ mentality mirrors the same ideology of Biden. Harris will be a continuation of the disaster of the last 4 years.
