Once again, Emgage Action, an Muslim American organization, slipped into the Democrats’ trap and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for 2024 President.
In the 2020 Presidential Election, Emgage Action endorsed then Candidate Joe Biden as he was believed to be more supportive to Muslims and unifier to Americans! Now they apparently believe the same political rhetoric and the same old empty promises by the Harris campaign.
Vice President Harris has been working alongside President Biden and supporting every decision that he made, including the support for Israel in the Gaza war. And also, Vice President Harris has never been able to offer a solution for this ongoing Israel-Hamas war. T
The political immaturity of Emgage Action’s leaders sway the organization from the facts and obstructs many Muslim Americans from seeing the political game of Vice President Harris. It is clear that Vice President Harris is an equal role player in that game with no difference from President Biden. Both President Biden and Vice President Harris are following the same director of this drama and obeying the same rules.
Emgage Action in a statement announced that, “We ultimately hold him [Biden] responsible for continuing to supply deadly weapons to Israel that have killed tens of thousands of people, including over 15,000 children.” In fact, as a Vice President, occupying the second highest public office in the nation, and alongside with President Biden for over 4.5 years, Harris defended his decision in every aspect and did not appose any effort to support Israel in its war.
Now, by endorsing Vice President Harris, Emgage Action believes that she will be able to bring peace to the table in the Middle East and ceasefire in Gaza: “ We need new leadership to call for a ceasefire and condition aid to Israel consistent with the Leahy Law to prevent even more horrific attacks.” Emgage Action announced.
Obviously, Vice President Harris will not be able to influence Israel to commit to a ceasefire and stop the war. Harris’ dysfunctional leadership has contributed to more disasters and failures of the Biden’s Administration, which created more misery for the American people. The Muslims in the United States are continuously manipulated by Democrats as they push their agenda through the Muslim voters. Emgage Action has miscalculated the equation in their endorsement, which is voting for Harris to defeat Trump. In fact, Trump’s agenda did not advocate any conflicts in the world, including the Middle East.
“To prevent Trump from returning to the White House, Emgage Action is endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz for President and Vice President.” Emgage Action stated. However, Emgage Action must realize that the catastrophe in the Middle East and the killing of thousands of innocent Muslims is indeed under Biden-Harris’ watch.
Regardless of Donald Trump’s demeanor and his executive order upon his victory in 2016, to temporarily ban people from some Muslim countries from traveling to the U.S, his policy did not create disasters and chaos for Muslim nations in the Middle East compared to the Biden-Harris administration.
Emgage Action announced in its statement that, “We are pledging to do all that we can to ensure that the next administration listens to our communities and takes our calls for peace, justice and safety seriously.” But is Emgage Action blind folded from seeing Vice President Harris as part of the current administration? Harris will not be distinguished from Biden, in fact, she will follow the same policies.
Muslim Americans have always played a significant role in the Democratic Party in the U.S. The majority of Muslims have been endorsing and voting for Democrat candidates for decades. Through its engagement and connection with Muslims, the Democratic Party has been able to influence Muslims and plant its roots in their community. But in fact, the Democratic Party has been paving a path that is in a complete contrast to the Islamic belief.
Muslim Americans were disappointed with President Biden, and they will be disappointed with Vice President Harris if she is elected for President. After all, Kamal Harris will not represent a new U.S administration. In fact, if Muslim voters seek a new administration and hope for a peace, the clear choice wil be the administration of Donald Trump.
