Roanoke County Public Library patrons can now access many of their favorite newsstand reads on their Internet-enabled device from the comfort of home with Zinio, a new library service made possible by a partnership with RBdigital.

Through Roanoke County Public Library’s website, Roanoke Valley Libraries cardholders will have unlimited and simultaneous access to complete digital magazines, which can easily be viewed on any Internet-enabled device inside or outside of the library. Zinio’s unique technology digitally recreates a magazine page for page, including full color pictures, intuitive navigation, key word article search, and interactive elements such as audio and video.

“We are delighted to add this free service to our online library,” says Library Director Diana Rosapepe. “All someone needs is a valid Roanoke Valley Libraries card, and they’re ready to check out the online magazine of their choice.”
