SCOTT DREYER: Corporate Media Lied About Assassination Attempt

Also refuse to show iconic picture of defiant Trump in face of death

Shortly after the attempted assassination of former President Trump on Saturday, July 13, many mainstream headlines were already trying to downplay or lie about the event.

Here is one compilation. (Note Elon Musk explaining, “The legacy media is a pure propaganda machine.”)

So check these out: Washington Post: “Trump escorted away after loud noises at rally”

ABC: “Loud noises ring out in crowd”

NBC: “Popping noises”

USA Today: “Loud noises startles former president, crowd”

MSNBC: “Trump falls at rally”

New York Times: “Trump escorted away after loud noises”

One cheeky tweet pointed out what a “fall” is and isn’t.

CNN: “Trump speech interrupted by Secret Service

ABC: “Disruption at Rally”

Here a woman claims to be in Times Square, and NO monitors were reporting the attempted assassination, at that time.

Here a reporter with Turning Point Action asked NBC correspondent Kristen Welker about the “popping noises” coverage, but she and her team refused all comments.

This commentator muses how CNN might have covered the Kennedy assassination?

The depths of the dishonesty in much of our legacy media is astounding. The first step to solving a problem is admitting there is a problem, and exposing the lies is one crucial step on the long march back toward civility and reason in our culture.
