To compare former President Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler, who was the third greatest mass murderer in human history after Joseph Stalin and Mao Zedong, is historically inaccurate and defamatory. In fact, this pro-Democrat propaganda or disinformation from the legacy news media and their Democrat operatives is totally preposterous because it defies common sense and Trump’s four-year legacy in the White House.
Comparing Trump to Hitler not only greatly trivializes the Nazi dictator, who was directly responsible for killing “35 million to 60 million people,” but it most likely highly encouraged such psychopathic men as Thomas Crooks and Ryan Routh, who both wanted this “American Hitler” dead.
I fully admit that Trump has many irritating character flaws, and sometimes uses inappropriate language about illegal immigrants, but he is certainly no Hitler. Under his administration from 2017 to 2021 there was never any suspension or abolition of the right of assembly, freedom of speech or freedom of the press. There was never any suspension of habeas corpus, confiscation of private property or dissolution of political parties. There also was never any abolition of state and local governments or any other Constitutional protections.
In foreign policy Trump was the diametric opposite of the anti-Semitic and genocidal Hitler. Trump was always a friend of Israel, who moved the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem after decades of timid indecision within the U.S. State Department. He imposed harsh sanctions on the Islamo-Nazi terrorist state of Iran while depriving them of much of their vital oil revenue, which had financed their anti-Semitic terrorism through their three primary proxies of Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis since the early 1980s.
Trump established the historic Abraham Accords on September 20, 2020, which normalized relations between Israel and the two Arab Gulf states of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. Plus, Trump’s daughter Ivanka is an Orthodox Jew as are her three children: Arabella, Joseph and Theodore.
Unlike Hitler, who annexed the Rhineland, Austria, Sudetenland and the Memel territory in northern East Prussia before the Nazi invasion of Poland on September 1, 1939, Trump never caused a world war, and he neither annexed any territory nor initiated any new wars when he was commander-in-chief. In addition, he never established any death or concentration camps resembling Auschwitz, Dachau or Jasenovac, which exterminated six million Jews and five million non-Jews.
Trump certainly never waged any wars of aggression nor committed crimes against humanity. If I remember correctly, I cannot recall him establishing either a Gestapo or SS replacing the FBI or the Secret Service. Surprise! Surprise!
In regard to the so called “insurrection” on January 6, 2021, which was in reality a disorganized riot, Trump clearly told the crowd that afternoon from the Ellipse near the South Lawn of the White House to march peacefully to the U.S. Capitol. He stated, “’I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.’” Unfortunately, later that afternoon the U.S. Capitol police and both the House and Senate Sergeant at Arms along with the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (D-KY) abysmally and deliberately failed to provide the necessary protection for the Capitol.
January 6, 2021 was never even remotely comparable to the burning of the German Reichstag (Parliament) on February 27, 1933. It was an ill-advised stupid riot and never an insurrection. Otherwise, someone among the “approximately 749 federal defendants, [who] … had their cases adjudicated and received sentences” for their crimes and rightfully sent to prison as of January 6, 2024 for violating federal law, would have been charged within insurrection, but nobody was ever charged as such.
As Nazi Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels, once said, “Repeat a lie often enough, and it becomes the truth.” This is exactly what far-left Democrat partisan propaganda as expressed by the legacy news media along with what their hysterical and lying Democrat operatives has been trying to do since 2016. Any attempts to compare Trump to Hitler is completely ludicrous.
So, based on Trump‘s previous four years in the White House from 2017 to 2021, I sincerely doubt that he is going to become another Hitler. That is because Trump is in no way a threat to democracy – a charge ironically being made by those who support a candidate who never received a single primary vote four years ago, much less now.
