ROBERT L. MARONIC: Pope Leo XIV Needs To Shut Up About The US-Israeli War Against Genocidal Iran – Part III

|

Date:

March 31, 2026

Pope Leo XIV is extremely naive in assuming that both the US and Israel can “pursue dialogue” with these Muslim neo-Nazi fanatics, who are trying to produce nuclear warheads.

Let’s just say that Iran had their diplomatic chance in 2025, and they blew it.

The US has been in dialogue with Iran for forty-seven years with no results to show for it. A ceasefire or “dialogue” along with massive covert Chinese military aid would do nothing more than to give Iran more time to develop deadly nuclear weapons and dirty bombs, especially with greater distance capability.

Iran’s launch of two long-range ballistic missiles 2,000 miles from Iran aimed at Diego Garcia on March 20 perfectly illustrates this greater distance capability. And you can rest assured that Vatican City will eventually be on their hit list for future nuclear destruction before 2040.

The Bishop of Rome ahistorically and grossly stated that “violence can never lead to the justice, stability, and peace that the people are waiting for.” He is totally wrong because the “violence” of war emphatically concluded World War II in 1945, resulting in the reconstruction of a modern, peaceful Germany and Japan today.

Crickets from Pope Leo XIV

War is always the least enviable option, but sometimes, it becomes absolutely necessary in order to stop evil.

Pope Leo XIV has repeatedly condemned the escalating U.S.-Israeli-led war against Iran for the past three or more weeks while decrying the “atrocious violence” and civilian casualties allegedly committed by the US. He has demanded an immediate ceasefire and urged dialogue, while the misinformed and defeatist Cardinal Cupich of Chicago criticized the depiction of the war as a “video game.”

If Pope Leo XIV thinks that the Vatican is somehow immune from a potential North Korea in the Middle East, which, as previously mentioned, has been the biggest state sponsor of terrorism since 1979, he is pathetically and sadly mistaken.

Crickets from Pope Leo XIV

The Swiss Guard cannot protect Vatican City from a nuclear warhead.

President Trump, simultaneously with Israel, attacked Iran on February 28 in order to destroy Iran’s nuclear weapons program in Operation Epic Fury. That is because Special Envoy Steve Witcoff stated on March 3 that the “Islamic Republic possessed enough enriched fuel to build eleven nuclear bombs.”

Both the US and Israel decided a long time ago that they do not want a mushroom cloud to appear over Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Washington, London, or any European city, which includes Rome.

Pope Leo XIV’s desire to halt fighting in Iran after a deadly school strike accidentally killing 165 people in Minab is absurd. That is because Iran and their proxies have been blatantly notorious for placing their weapons and ballistic missile launchers next to or underneath civilian buildings, schools, mosques, hospitals, and residential neighborhoods.

Hezbollah in Lebanon uses similar dastardly tactics by transporting weapons in red crescent ambulances and having terrorists dressed in “paramedic uniforms.” The IRGC in Iran has no regard whatsoever for civilian casualties. That certainly includes the priests, bishops, nuns, monks, and other civilian or military employees, who work and live at the Vatican.

Once Iran is totally defeated, there will truly be peace in the Middle East. Meanwhile, the Roman Catholic Church needs to focus on preventing clergy sexual abuse, which has cost the church $5 billion and counting in the US alone

Pope Leo XIV needs to remember that the Sixth Commandment states, “thou shall not murder,” and not “thou shall not kill” as commanded in Exodus 20:13 and Deuteronomy 5:17. Radical Shiite Iran has left the US with no other choice because of the thousands of Iranians and Americans it has killed and murdered since 1979.
