Hundreds of art lovers and public radio fans attended WVTF’s second juried art show last Friday, where they found works from dozens of local artists. There was also catered food, wine and music by several artists, including The Wright Kids from Rocky Mount and America’s Got Talent! television fame.
The event was also a fundraiser for the public radio station, which serves much of central and southwestern Virginia from its home just off Franklin Road southwest (3520 Kingsbury Lane). Art from the show will be on display at the station and is open to the public during regular weekday business hours in August.
