Franklin County overcame a shortened roster and the Eagles captured first place in the Big Orange Wrestling Classic held at William Byrd High School.
Among other area teams, Patrick Henry placed fourth while Lord Botetourt, William Byrd and Cave Spring finished 6th through 8th, respectfully.
Northside placed 14th, Hidden Valley 15th, Salem 16th, Roanoke Catholic 17th and Glenvar 21st in the 23-team field.
Individual champions among Roanoke-area teams included Cody Love (Cave Spring; 152 lb) and Keenan Hughes (Patrick Henry; 285 lb.)
