There was snow on the ground, but things heated up Thursday night inside the Salem Civic Center for the 25th annual Salem-Roanoke Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremony and hot stove banquet.

Former Pittsburgh Pirate pitcher and present baseball coach at Liberty Christian Academy, Randy Tomlin, was the guest speaker as The Hall inducted Josh Herman, Donald Gresh, Marion E. “Bo” Trumbo and Tom Williams as the Class of 2016. In addition, sportswriter Ray Cox was presented with the Wayne LaPierre, Sr. Community Service Award.
Profiles of the inductees can be seen in the current Roanoke Star edition on newsstands through February 4th.
