ROBERT L. MARONIC: Et Tu Kamala?

Joe Biden, the worst U.S. president undoubtedly since James Buchanan, finally withdrew as the presumptive Democrat presidential nominee on July 21. The severely unsavvy social-media president strangely posted his resignation on X, formerly Twitter and then -unbelievably – endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, who has even worse poll numbers against Trump.

Although Harris was the first presidential candidate to drop out of the 2020 Democrat primary on December 3, 2019, which was exactly two months before the Iowa caucus on February 3, 2020, due to extremely low poll numbers and a lack of financial support, Biden had no choice but to endorse his “sinecure” vice president. This was because she was the perfect DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) candidate in 2020, which is the complete opposite of leadership, merit, character along with a disregard for skin pigmentation and gender.

Plus, Biden owed Congressman Jim Clyburn (D-SC) big time, especially in selecting Harris.

Now Harris is politically in the same situation that she was in on December 3, 2019. She is politically in no man’s land or no woman’s land according to DEI-speak until the beginning of the Democrat National Convention on August 19 in Chicago. That is twenty-seven long days from now.

Harris is a realist, and she knows that the likelihood of her being replaced as the Democrat presidential nominee during the convention is highly probable by such politicians as Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA), Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI), Michelle Obama (D-Martha’s Vineyard) and others deemed “worthy” by such kingmakers as Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)..

Just as Biden used Harris as an “insurance policy” to secure his position as president because of Harris’ mediocrity, cackling and staff unpopularity, Harris may very well return the “favor.”

This may, however, be in the form of a Caesarean stiletto figuratively speaking.

Harris fully knows that Biden is not exactly too hale and hardy in both mind and body. In fact, she knows that he has become increasingly senile and cognitively impaired since 2020. She also knows that Biden’s hand on the nuclear button is a great cause for concern by all Americans.

So why does Harris not legally remove him now and become the 47th President of the United States? That would certainly greatly solidify and secure her position as the Democrat nominee in Chicago from August 19-22.

I predict that she may soon invoke Section 4 of the 25th Amendment so that Biden cannot finish his presidency, save the country from his serious cognitive decline and a potential “Wag the Dog” war. Plus, by invoking Section 4 of the 25th Amendment, she would be entering the Democrat National Convention not as a vice president, but as the 47th president of the U.S., and much less likely to lose the Democrat presidential nomination.

The only choice for Harris at the convention then would simply be to find a credible vice president with gravitas such as Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) or Governor Josh Shapiro some (D-PA). This would certainly be a bold Brutus-like move on her part, but it may be a gamble that she may have to take in order to be the first female president from late July or early August 2024 until Inauguration Day on January 20, 2025.

Otherwise, her poll numbers against Trump look dismal because she has not accomplished anything of significance as vice president, which was perhaps Biden’s intention all along to make her look like a worse presidential alternative than him.

As far as I am concerned, Kamala Harris would be doing the U.S. a great favor to get the cognitively impaired Biden removed from the Oval Office for the sake of both our national security and nation’s economy.

If Harris were to courageously expose the White House cover-up of Biden’s cognitive decline since 2020, it would be a great act of patriotism and immensely enforce the rule of law so as to strongly discourage having another Woodrow Wilson or Joe Biden in the Oval Office for the remainder of the twenty-first century.

Otherwise, Harris and Biden’s entire White House staff are most likely going to be subpoenaed in 2025, and have to answer a lot of hostile questions from a potential angry Republican House subcommittee, especially if the Republicans maintain or win more House seats this November.

But will Kamala Harris do anything that I have suggested in this column?

I sincerely doubt it because she may not possess two necessary political survival skills: a killer instinct and courage. She may also be too timid to invoke Section 4 of the 25th Amendment before the Democrat National Convention in Chicago, thereby making her highly unlikely to be selected as the Democrat presidential nominee against Trump on November 5.

Please prove me wrong Madam Vice President.
