Star City Sustainability Series: Nature’s Trade Recycling Owner to discuss company’s “Recycling Right” Approach

The public is invited to the next Star City Sustainability Series presentation featuring Anthony Peer, owner of Nature’s Trade Recycling, on Wednesday, Jan. 8, from 6-7 p.m., at Clean Valley Council Headquarters.

This also will be a recycling-collection event for broken and unwanted holiday items: ornamental lights, wrapping paper, cardboard, plastic film, and batteries. Click here for recycling details.

In his presentation, Peer will discuss how Nature’s Trade Recycling began, the obstacles it’s overcome, and its strategies for sustainable expansion while staying committed to “Recycling Right.”

“Recycling responsibly presents unique challenges, but it’s a mission worth pursuing,” Peer says.

“We are excited to have Anthony help citizens understand the challenges of recycling responsibly and to share his approaches for doing it sustainably,” says Courtney Plaster, CVC executive director.

This event is free, and registration is required at https://www.cleanvalley.org/events/star-city-sustainability-series-presents.

The CVC Headquarters is inside Heights Community Church at 2014 Memorial Ave., SW, Roanoke 24015. The presentation will be in the Welcome Center.
