“The important thing is to get up and get moving – to ‘Spin’,” Globetrotter Buckets Blakes told children last week at the Kirk Family YMCA.
S.P.I.N.™ (Some Playtime Is Necessary) is the Globetrotters’ program designed to make fitness fun and to help kids cultivate an active lifestyle.
“An active lifestyle can include anything from dribbling a basketball to walking the dog,” said Blake.
The legendary Harlem Globetrotters celebrate their 85th consecutive season when their dazzling 2011 “4 Times the Fun” World Tour stops at the Roanoke Civic Center on March 3rd.
